Hi, I'm a PhD student in the Instituto de Investigaciones en Matemáticas Aplicadas y Sistemas or IIMAS "Applied Mathematics and Systems Research Institute" (UNAM).

My advisors are Dr. Luis A. Pineda Cortes and Dr. Pablo Romero Mares, which makes me part of a great group of people interested in Human-Computer Interaction HCI and Artificial Intelligence IA.

I have a degree in Computer Science (applied to software engineering) from IIMAS. My undergatuate advisor was Dra. Hanna Jadwiga Oktaba.

Currently i'm teaching myself, Kinect SDK for natural user interface development. I've working in the development of a rehabilitation system based on flow theory and others HCI concepts.

When I'm not in front of my computer working, playing or studying, you'll find me in front of my computer(!) practicing designing. I live in Coyoacán, DF, México. I love to travel, and I love to practice futbol soccer so I'm a big fan of PUMAS UNAM, the best team that exist.

  Motivated by a series of workplace studies a central element of my research has been focused on designing, developing and studied kinds of natural user interfaces within the context of medical rehabilitation based on flow theory and others HCI concepts.

  Another area of interest has to do with exploring the potential that new forms of interaction (tangible interfaces, natural user interfaces, embodied interaction) have in ubiquitous computing technology.

  Also I'm studying the premise that affect, desing, emotion, and subjective experience should be factored into the design of interactive technology.

• Faculty of Sciences UNAM

  I'm a teacher at the Faculty of Sciences (UNAM). I teach the following courses:

  * Computing for physicists. In this course we analyzed topics such as: shell, latex, linux,programming fundamentals, computer maths and problems with numerical calculations.

  * Data Structures for Actuaries or also call Programming II. In this course we analyzed topics such as: programming fundamentals and data structures applied to actuarial science.

  But I would like teach courses that are focused on my research field like Interaction design, Mobile and ubiquitous computing and Human-Computer Interaction.
